In diverse confezioni per Wiimote WIi U sono stati trovati vecchi controller per Wii.

Sono sicuramente compatibili ma non hanno il beneficio del pulsante sync nella parte inferiore del controller esterna invece che sotto la cover delle batterie.

Ma l'update è obbligatorio o uno inizialmente può usare la console anche come esce dalla scatola?

Primi problemi per Wii U. Nintendo ha infatti pubblicato un aggiornamento obbligatorio del firmware del peso di ben 5GB. Date le dimensioni di tale update e il grande numero di utenti che lo hanno dovuto scaricare era prevedibile che i server di Nintendo arrivassero al collasso interrompendo il download e rendendo inutilizzabile la Wii U. Nintendo ha prontamente comunicato di essere al lavoro per potenziare i suoi server al fine di impedire che questo problema possa ripetersi.

Questo è il countdown che segna la fine del download della patch?

credo che quel countdown sia moooooolto più lungo

Bizarra la scelta Nintendo , dato il peso del download, che disponendo di porte usb e sd non lo si renda scaricabile da PC per poi installarlo comodamente senza tempi di attesa pericolosissimi.

A parte questo enorme problema, a molti la console funzionante non ha piu' funzionato dopo il corretto aggiornamento, moltissimi i problemi di freeze.
Devono rivederlo sto aggiornamento.

Wii U bricked?
Just got my Wii U set up today.

After trying repeatedly to start the system update and getting that error everyone was getting because the servers were overloaded, it finally started. I left it alone for a couple of hours.

When I came back, it said the update had completed and I needed to restart my system. When I did so, it booted up fine once. I got to the point where I could pick the account to log in as, and I decided to edit my Mii. For some reason the system was taking forever navigating to that part, and then the pad went black and gave me an error message (which I foolishly didn't write down.)

After that, it was hard locked. I had to pull the plug from the main console. After trying to restart it, I see the "Wii U" logo appear on the pad and on my TV, with some sounds/music for maybe 20 seconds or so, then it fades out, and...nothing. It just sits there. At that point the console is hard locked; you can't turn it off by holding down the power or anything. I have to pull the power cord again to turn it off.

I tried unplugging everything and waiting five minutes and plugging it into a regular wall outlet that's worked fine, and still no dice.

My theory is that something went wrong when downloading the massive day one update and despite saying it completed the update successfully, it actually did not complete it successfully and screwed up.

Any ideas? Is this yet another day one bricked Wii U? Pretty disappointing if it is.

voi non capite questo é la nuova ip di nintendo...super roulette russa bros...si gioca senza pad l'importante é tenere il culo il piú stretto possibile durante l'aggiornamento

secondo digital foundry ci vogliono 11 minuti per installare il nuovo firmware dopo che è stato scaricato, e quelli sono oggettivamente troppi perchè durante l'installazione se salta la corrente sei fottuto -_-'

L'unica è attaccare la console ad un UPS almeno per questa patch, non si può rischiare di friggere una console per un upgrade.
