[PS3] Due versioni ?

EBgames employees announced in a rumored leak that they will soon start taking pre-orders for the Sony PlayStation 3, and that you will be able to pre-order two different versions. The first one revealed was the $399.99 version, and another even more advanced SKU to be released: according to him there will also be an ultra expensive version priced at $599.99.

Supposedly the cheaper version will not be able to play Blu-Ray movies, only Blu-Ray games, and the more expensive SKU will be able to do both. No word of a Hard Drive inclusion or exclusion yet.

Other evidence is based on the latest from GameSpot; you can now pre-order Play Station 3 games and some even come with a possible release date.

The most basic problem with this rumor is that if they both play Blu-Ray disks, then all it requires is a software update to fix the problems with the cheaper SKU. More problems occur around hypocrisy, in which the Sony Video Game industry mocked the duel SKU's of the Xbox 360, to follow in the same tracks would be a deliberate kick to the Sony fans who cheered them on with that decision.

parrebbe che la "full" legga giochi e film in BR mentre la "cheap" solo i giochi.
l'una a 599$ mentre l'altra a 399$.

MA questo conta poco  , a mio avviso sarebbe una scelta giusta e condivisibile ...... dare la possibilita' di avere la PS3 per i giochi e pagarla come tale , mica a tutti interessano i film in alta definizione e con la problematica del doppio formato e TV specifico . Quindi , se confermato , condivido pienamente  .. anzi , ci spero

Mi ero limitato a leggere il commento in Italiano di Reiz ..... il mio inglese si limita a / read team / swich team / idiot  / insomma il minimo sindacale imparato sul live 

Cmq , ripeto ...... sarebbe una scelta giusta uscire con una console full e una incompleta    ( ok , la pianto qui  :evil: ...... non spostare in CW che tanto poi , magari tra mezzora viene tutto smentito  :ohno: :magia: ;) )

Se non si e' capito , sarei realmente contento se la cosa viene confermata nonche' sono in linea con la Sony x questa eventuale scelta .

Boh non saprei... quello che non mi piace della "doppia" offerta del 360 sono le (piccole o meno piccole) differenze ludiche come la mancanza dell'hard disk o il controller wired anzichè wireless, più la prima che la seconda a dire il vero.

Fossi in Sony differenzierei i due modelli per le feature extraludiche come ad esempio la possibilità di usare la console come DVR della quale si è parlato in questi giorni, ma metterei in ogni caso tutti i videogiocatori sullo stesso piano (iniziale), facendo quindi sì che le aggiunte della versione più ricca di dotazione di base non avessero alcun impatto sui giochi.

Ma dato che non sono io che decido 'ste cose, aspetto gli annunci ufficiali
