A significant "Year of Luigi" arrival and, perhaps more importantly, a big release to tide over Wii U owners. This eShop release will function as DLC for New Super Mario Bros. U before arriving as a standalone retail release next month, providing over 80 levels with Luigi as the star and the inclusion of a practically invincible Nabbit in multiplayer. It'll feature redesigned stages to suit Luigi's abilities — including a flutter jump — and looks like typical 2D platforming fun. We'll wear some green and check this out for a review.
Wii U Virtual Console
Mario Bros. (Nintendo, €4.99 / £3.49)
Now we're really kicking it old school, as this NES port of the original Mario Bros. arcade makes its appearance on the Wii U Virtual Console. Luigi fans should know that this one was the green one's first appearance, offering up single screen challenges to flip over and kick plenty of foes. This one's perhaps a little dated now, but we'll get kitted out for a trip into the pipes for an updated review; until then, you can see what we said in our Wii Virtual Console Mario Bros. review.
Wrecking Crew (Nintendo, €4.99 / £3.49)
This NES platform puzzler makes its third Virtual Console appearance, as it recently landed on the 3DS eShop's platform. It provides fairly standard 8-bit fare, but multiplayer and a level editor — which includes the option to save your creations on the VC — add a little extra depth. We'll see how the Wii U version stacks up, but until then you can check out our 3DS Virtual Console Wrecking Crew review.

BUGS vs. TANKS! (Level-5, €7.99 / £7.19)
The second of three Guild02 titles coming to the 3DS eShop, this contribution comes from Mega Man creator Keiji Inafune. Footage to date has shown what looks like a basic action game as tanks fight — you guessed it — big bugs, but the official blurb promises local wireless co-op for up to four players, StreetPass implementation and a large variety of tank parts for customisation. We'll don our helmets and charge into battle for a review.
3D Game Collection (Joindots, €24.99 / £11.99)
This title comes with an extraordinary price discrepancy between mainland Europe and the UK, with the latter still being a fair bit more expensive than the North American release. As a collection of small games, meanwhile, it's hit and miss for a mediocre overall experience; check out our 3D Game Collection review for more details.
Gardenscapes (Joindots, €24.99 / £14.99)
Rather like 3D Game Collection, this title has had a price bump on its way to Europe. This one is partly about maintaining and designing a desirable garden space, while there's also some hidden object gameplay included; it may appeal to any horticulturally-minded 3DS owners out there. Not perfect by any means, we nevertheless had some positive things to say in our Gardenscapes review.
The Phantom Thief Stina and 30 Jewels (Agetec, €4.99 / £4.49)
This won't win many prizes for its less-than-snappy title, but its concept of stealing jewels or alternatively chasing the thief promises much. It doesn't quite deliver on its potential, in our view, and you can see why in our The Phantom Thief Stina and 30 Jewels review.
Witch's Cat (Agetec, €4.99 / £4.49)
A spin-off from the Rabi Laby titles on DSiWare, this is a challenging puzzle game that sees you make use of magic abilities to progress. This offers plenty of challenge, nf some occasions with too much of a difficulty spike, but it still earned a solid recommendation in our Witch's Cat review.
101 DinoPets 3D (Selectsoft, €4.00 / £3.59)
Pet sims are common on the DS family of systems and, gradually, on the 3DS, but this one is undoubtedly unique in making you look after and dress up dinosaurs. What could possibly go wrong? According to our 101 DinoPets 3D review, quite a lot.

Defenders of Oasis (SEGA, €3.99 / £3.59)
The collection of Game Gear titles on the 3DS eShop continues to grow with this Japanese-style RPG, where you're tasked with recruiting allies and taking down an evil wizard. Sounds like a normal day in the office, and we'll let you know how the quest goes in a review, soon.
Tails Adventure (SEGA, €4.99 / £4.49)
It's inevitable that sidekicks get spin-off games of their own, and this Game Gear example sees Sonic's trusty assistant embark on 12 missions to gather mechanical parts for a mysterious machine. We'll see whether Tails is up to going solo in our upcoming review.

Jewel Quest 5 - The Sleepless Star (MSL, 800 Nintendo Points)
No sooner has Jewel Quest 4 arrived and disappointed us, Jewel Quest 5 now arrives on DSiWare. Expect more match-three puzzling with a loose storyline applied, and we'll see whether this fifth entry fares better in our upcoming review.

Tutto confermato, c'è stato anche un Nintendo Direct Mini nel quale hanno annunciato una promozione riguardante Pikmin e The wonderful 101: acquistando la versione digitale del primo si ottiene uno sconto del 30% sul secondo. La promozione sarà attiva fino a settembre.
E il riconoscimento vocale del Nexus 7 mi ha riconosciuto persino Pikmin. Ecco, l'ho detto. :|

Batman è praticamente regalato, ma di interessante c'è The Mysterious Murasame Castle :sisi:
Semi-regalato: il secondo su disco fisico si recupera abbastanza facilmente a prezzo più o meno similare (ed è, appunto, su supporto fisico, con tutti i suoi pro) mentre il primo lo si trova ormai a meno di 10 pleuri.
Non so, avrei gradito maggiormente una bella offerta su Blackgate, anche se non ho ancora capito se sia valido o meno. :bua:
Io di Blackgate ne ho sempre sentito parlare male. Peraltro ho la sensazione che a breve arriverà sul Plus per qualche console.

In realtà qualcuno avrebbe già provato ad immettere un codice, ed il relativo download si sarebbe avviato automaticamente sulla console... ma come al solito, con tutto il rispetto, attenderei verifiche più approfondite (se non altro perchè ufficialmente Nintendo non ha ancora annunciato nulla).
Di certo il sito ha di sua le funzionalità legate al NNID, tant'è che la pagina di cui sopra al momento, in alto a destra, mostra proprio il mio Mii + nickname, con un piccolo menu per il logoff.

Apparentemente NON correlato a quanto detto sopra ma comunque abbastanza rilevante: da qualche giorno gli utenti USA possono acquistare una discreta selezione di titoli in digital delivery 3DS/WiiU direttamente dal sito Nintendo, con download automatico immediato sulla propria console via login NNID.

C'è qualche promo interessante questa settimana su eShop, penso di prendere Teslagrad e Guacamelee, finalmente a prezzo "umano".
Ho dimenticato di segnalare come al solito... su eShop sono sbarcati alcuni eccelsi titoli Wii, in promozione a 9.99€ per la settimana di lancio (prezzo standard 19.98).
Questa settimana tocca a Metroid Prime Trilogy: a quel prezzo se avete wiimote & nunchuck è impossibile non consigliare caldamente l'acquisto, rapporto qualità/prezzo (e lasciamo perdere la longevità, saranno un 60 ore minimo) pazzesco.
Io però sono rimasto perplesso su una cosa....
Premetto che è comunque colpa mia, settimana scorsa ho acquistato Mario Galaxy 2 a 9,90 Euro, sfruttando anche i 5 euro caricati con la promozione Premium.
Come detto, è colpa mia che non mi sono informato meglio, ma ero convinto che il gioco si potesse giocare anche senza i controller per Wii.
Deluso da questa cosa. :(
Io resto dell'idea che la roba pensata per sfruttare degnamente il wiimote - e i vari Galaxy 2 di turno ci rientrano di sicuro - non possa esser giocata in modo soddisfacente con controlli differenti però boh... in giro ci sono tanti che dicono di essersi trovati divinamente col pad 360 sotto emulatore (Dolphin su PC).
Detto questo, son giochi Wii in tutto e per tutto quindi ahimè non possono che necessitare dei controller originali: è già tanto a mio parere che abbiano promesso che in futuro i titoli compatibili col Classic Controller (dico quello col filo, che si attaccava al wiimote) si potranno giocare direttamente sul padellone.
Però effettivamente il Wiimote nei Mario Galaxy è parte integrante dell'esperienza di gioco.
In giro peraltro si trovano a poco, i negozi se ne stanno sbarazzando.

Si ma come detto è stato un mio errore, ho acquistato d'impulso (ah però! spendo 5 euro e prendo Mario Galaxy 2 e magari posso giocarci anche sul padellone! :teeth:).

I dati che io sappia non restano nei loro server, inoltre così non hai vincoli di credito residuo sul borsello virtuale eShop perché paghi esattamente l'importo del gioco.

Per la cronaca io è da un po' che non acquisto le prepagate, un tempo si trovavano abbastanza facilmente dalle nostre parti.

Niente, alla fine ho preso Metroid con la carta di credito.
Ho dato una occhiata al topic su NeoGAF e ci sono un sacco di consigli.
Mi sa che prima di iniziarli, leggerò attentamente...
A 10€ Metroid Prime Trilogy è un furto, sarei quasi tentato di prenderlo pure io che già ce l'ho su disco. :D
Se si riesce a sorvolare sui quasi tre lustri di grafica c'è veramente tanto di che divertirsi.
